Riding in the Wind

We would like to tell you the story of Paola Gianotti: endurance cyclist, motivational speaker, business coach and writer, holder of 4 Guinness World Records: Listing all of Paola Gianotti's records is an arduous task. A graduate in Economics, traveller and sportswoman, after graduating she began working as a financial consultant in a large company in Milan but soon realised that this was not her life. In 2012, she left her job and decided to devote herself to her true passion: she began heavy athletic training and in 2014 set off to tackle the round-the-world bicycle race, becoming the fastest woman to have circumnavigated the globe.

Sport, sustainability, love of nature, responsibility towards the environment and ecosystems - from these premises, and from the knowledge that for Paola Gianotti nothing is impossible, the idea of a new challenge was born, a new goal to be achieved: cycling from Stockholm to Milan, 2022 kilometres to plant 2022 trees, in order to raise awareness of the climate crisis and to promote the use of the bicycle as a sustainable means of transport.
